When CV review is on, Flo reviews each new application’s CV against the Job’s ideal candidate. The Job’s Pipeline tab opens on To review: open applicants at the Application stage that Flo reviewed and nobody has decided on.

Turn review on

Confirming the ideal candidate in the guided setup turns review on. You can also select Start review on the Pipeline tab. Pause review turns it off. Only the Job owner and Admins can start or pause it. Turning review on also reviews everyone already waiting at Application, whoever added them, including applicants who came in by job-board email. The reviews run as the person who turned review on.

Read the list

Brand Manager, Dairy, Pipeline › To review: Đinh Ngọc Ánh, 3 of 3 met, Good, Good and Great per must-have, and Pause review

To review on the Pipeline tab. The test applicant's CV has no dated work history, so every line is Inconclusive.

  • Met, frozen beside the name, reads “4 of 5”: how many must-haves are Good or better. The list sorts by it, then by who met the higher-ranked must-have.
  • One pill per must-have shows Flo’s word: Great, Good, Okay, Poor or Inconclusive. Select a pill to see the reason, the quote from the CV and its source.
  • A Medium or High integrity badge on the name means Flo saw signs of tampering. It is advice, never a verdict.
  • After the must-haves, Current tenure, Average tenure and Total experience come from the dates on the CV, worked out by Hire, never guessed. A dash means the CV gives no dates. Applied and Source say when and from which board the application came.
  • Hover over or focus Met to read Flo’s reason for each must-have in one paragraph.
  • The footer counts “12 applications to review”.

Decide

Open a row to see the review panel.
The review panel header with 1 of 1 to review, Progress and Reject
  1. Progress Y moves the applicant to Long list.
  2. Reject N asks why, then closes the Application as Kept for matching. The ticks are Too junior, Too senior, Job hopping, Experience not relevant enough, Wrong location, Missing a must-have, Already in our pipeline and Works for a current client.
Under the buttons, Tell Flo why takes one line and three optional ticks: “Previous experience is relevant”, “Previous companies are relevant” and “Right level of seniority”. The line is saved as the reason for your next decision. ⌘ Enter progresses with it, and Reject carries it into its reasons. It is only used to refine the ideal candidate and is never sent to the candidate. Next, Against the ideal candidate lists every must-have, nice-to-have and red flag with Flo’s word and reason, then Integrity. The CRM fields sit under Details, which shows only the fields that have a value.
Against the ideal candidate: each must-have with its word and a one-sentence reason

J and K move through the list in the panel.

Progress moves the Application to Long list. A reason is optional. Reject needs at least one reason, a tick or a line. It closes the Application as Kept for matching, so the person stays available for other Jobs. Select several rows to progress or reject them at once. Reject asks for the reasons once.

Check and undo

Progressed and Rejected sit next to To review, with their counts. Each lists the decisions, newest first, with why, who and when. Select Undo to put the person back at Application. They wait in To review again. Undo refuses if they have moved on since.

Let Flo refine the ideal candidate

Until you have made five decisions with a reason since the ideal candidate was confirmed, the toolbar counts down: “3 more decisions and Flo can refine the search”. The fifth asks Flo for a change, with no button to press. Flo’s proposal shows as Ideal candidate · Suggestions on the toolbar. Open it to see the change as a diff, then select Remove suggestions, Edit or Confirm. Confirm makes the new version, and Flo reviews everyone waiting against it. Flo never moves or rejects anyone.
