Each time Flo answers, Hire keeps a record of that answer, called a turn, for 30 days. Use it to find out why Flo answered as it did, or where it stopped.

Find the turn

  • From a chat: Owners and Admins see View trace under each of Flo’s replies. Select it to open that turn.
  • From the list: Open Settings › Flo activity to see every turn in the Agency. Anyone can open Your account › My Flo activity to see their own turns.
Each row shows who asked, when, where the turn started, its status, how long it took, the model, the tokens, the cost and the counts of tools, writes and errors. A cost that starts with ~ is an estimate at the model’s list price. To narrow the list:
  1. Choose a Status, a Member or a Tool.
  2. Turn on Has error to see only turns that failed or had a tool error.
  3. Set From and To to the days you want. Both days are included, in your Agency’s time zone.

Read the turn

The turn page lists, from top to bottom:
  • Details. Where the turn started, how long it took, the model and its reasoning effort, the tokens (new, cached and output), the cost, the tool counts and the error class.
  • Asked. The message and any files sent with it.
  • Thinking. A summary of the model’s reasoning, when the model gave one.
  • Steps. Each tool Flo called, in order, with its outcome, when it started and how long it took. Open a step to see what Flo sent and what came back. A step that failed opens by itself and shows its error code.
  • Approval cards. The changes Flo asked you to approve, how you decided, and Undone or Can be undone for an approved change.
  • Changes Flo made. The changes Flo saved by itself, each with its Undo state.
  • Records it changed and the Reply.
Sentry trace opens the same turn in Sentry, with the timings of Hire, the runner and the model. PostHog replay opens the replay of the browser session the question was asked from. Every word in a replay is masked. Copy debug bundle copies the ids, steps, errors and timings for a bug report. Tick Include content to add the words too.

What Owners and Admins see of a colleague’s turn

A colleague’s turn shows who asked, when, the status, the tools and their timings, the model, the tokens and the cost. What they asked, what Flo thought and answered, and what each tool sent and returned stay private to that colleague. Flo may have read their own mail for them. To see more, ask the colleague to open the turn and copy the debug bundle with Include content ticked. See also How Flo approvals and Undo work.
