# Flo commands

> What the Ask Flo bar does, and the kinds of request Flo acts on.

## The Ask Flo bar

Press <kbd>⌘K</kbd> or <kbd>/</kbd>.

| Type or choose | What happens |
| - | - |
| Any words | Searches Companies, Contacts, Jobs and Candidates, your meeting transcripts and your Echo recordings, and offers **Ask Flo about** your words |
| A page name | Jumps to it, for example Meetings or Dashboard |
| New company, New contact, New job, New candidate, New task | Opens a new row in that table |
| Log activity | Opens [Log activity](/guides/how-to/log-activity) listening, also <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>E</kbd> |

## Requests Flo acts on

Flo uses the same actions as the buttons in Hire, with your permissions. These are examples, not fixed phrases.

| Find | "Which jobs are in Briefing?" | A table you can open |
| Records | "Add Nguyễn Văn An from this CV to the Vinamilk job" | A Candidate and an Application, with Undo |
| Jobs | "Draft the ideal candidate from the JD" | A draft you confirm |
| Jobs | "Write the advert" | An advert to copy |
| Search | "Search our database for this job" | A search; results land at Long list to review |
| Review | "Who should I look at first on the Vinamilk job?" | The To review list, in order |
| CCM | "Masan booked Nam's 2nd round for Tuesday 15:00" | A card to book the CCM, with prep and keep-warm tasks. Undo cancels it and archives both tasks |
| CCM | "Masan called off Nam's 2nd round" | A card to cancel the CCM; its prep and keep-warm tasks are archived |
| Intake | "Turn off the application inbox" | Done, with Undo |
| Import | "Import these sheets" | One plan card to approve |
| CV out | "Is Minh Anh ready to send to Vinamilk?" | The three ready-to-send lines, then the email with the formatted CV. See [Send a CV to a client](/guides/how-to/send-a-cv-to-a-client) |
| Metrics | "How many CVs did we send this month?" | An answer from the Dashboard's numbers |
| Echo | "Which of my Echo recordings aren't filed yet?", "Show my voice notes from today" | Your recordings and voice logs, with their notes and transcripts on request |
| Logs | "What did I log about Nam last week?", "Show my voice notes that aren't filed" | Your past logs, as [Meetings › Past](/guides/how-to/find-a-meeting#past) lists them |
| Inbox | "Which emails need me?" | Your Needs reply conversations, and a thread's messages on request |

## Rules Flo follows

* It reads the page you are on.
* It asks with a question card when it needs a choice.
* It never progresses or rejects an applicant, and never confirms the ideal candidate for you.
