# How to build a target list with Flo

> Ask Flo for your top companies in a sector, check each one's tier, and add them all with one approval.

Phil's BD training starts from a list of about 50 companies in tiers. Flo builds it from what Hire already knows, and you approve it once.

## Steps

1. Open **Ask Flo** and say what you want, for example "Build my target list for pharmaceuticals in Vietnam". You can also drop a sheet of companies on Flo.
2. Flo shows one card with every company, its **Tier** and why Flo chose it. Each row says what will happen: **New company**, **In Hire** (matched, not duplicated), **Already a target** or **Do not contact** (both skipped).
3. Untick any company you don't want.
4. Select **Approve**. Hire adds a target for each ticked company, owned by you, at its tier.

For a company already in Hire, the card also lists its decision-makers from your Contacts: directors, the CEO or GM, the HR director, TA and HR leads or managers, and hiring managers, with the email, phone and LinkedIn you hold for them. Approve makes them the target's **Decision-makers**. Flo adds no new contacts this way: people come only from Hire or from what you tell Flo, and Hire does no scraping and uses no LinkedIn or enrichment tool. If you know an event a company's people attend, tell Flo and it goes in the row's reason.

## What happens next

* The targets show on **Companies › Targets**, grouped by tier.
* **Undo import** on the card takes the whole list back for 14 days. Anything you have worked on since stays.
* Flo never searches the web or LinkedIn for companies, and never contacts anyone.
