Flo reads a CV and fills in the Candidate: name, email, phone, LinkedIn, location, current role and company, skills and notes. If the person is already in Hire, the CV goes on their record instead of making a second one. ## Steps 1. Open **Candidates**. 2. Select **Add from CV**, then choose the file. Or drop one CV anywhere on the page. 3. The button reads **Reading CV…** while Flo reads it. It takes a few seconds. The Candidates page header with Add from CV beside Add candidate You can also attach a CV in a Flo chat and ask Flo to add the person. ## What happens next * Hire opens the new Candidate on its **Files** tab, with the CV. A message says what Flo filled, with **Undo**. * If the CV disagrees with what's already there, the Files tab shows "\ says something else", with **Use CV** per field and **Keep all current**. * Add the Candidate to a Job from their page. ## Troubleshooting * **"\ is already in Hire".** The CV has the same email, phone or LinkedIn as someone you have. Select **Add to \** to put the CV on their record, or **Cancel**. * **"Upload a PDF or Word CV that has text, not a scan."** Hire can't read text from the file. Ask for a PDF or Word version. * **"Flo couldn't find a name in this CV".** Add the person with **Add candidate**, then add the file on their **Files** tab. * **Several files.** Dropping several files, or a spreadsheet, opens an import instead.
